I loved this story about children’s behaviour - which shows how emotional context can be prioritised over decontextualised action. Nobody had to be shamed. Natural consequences occurred. A boy’s heart had help. I celebrate the many Scottish schools I know who operate this way.

My new years wish is for @UKLabour @Keir_Starmer @bphillipsonMP @helenhayes @AngelaRayner to value children and families in their manifesto and bring back a version of Sure Start. It made the biggest difference for outcomes for children. Conservatives and Lib Dem’s took it away.

We still haven’t been able to find my brother. We just want to know he is safe. There has been a possible sighting of someone that looks like him at Totton Train Station on Christmas Eve. We have passed on all information to the police who are looking into finding him.
