RTC yesterday, two vehicles. I was first on scene, traffic colleagues were miles away. Got everyone out the vehicles, giving first aid, two people with cuts. Guy comes up and starts filming me as I had parked my car on a grass verge!!! This is the world we work in every day.

I would never expect a PCSO to get involved with an incident beyond their training, lack of PPE, etc. But please shout up on the radio! What you've been told by the member of public, ask for a patrol to attend instead. 99% of PCSO's would, sadly this video gives all a bad name.

Stop checked a guy yesterday sleeping in a tent by the side of a lay-by. Turned out to be an Iraq/Afghanistan army veteran who's struggled for years post military. Spoke for ages & have things lined up to help him. It's not all about arrests & crime, he deserves far better. 🇬🇧🎖
