He might be new to the Highlands, but he’s no stranger to the sea. As an avid surfer, Jake’s travelled far and wide in search of the best waves, so of course he’s come to Caithness, where we boast some of the best surfing in the world (perhaps you didn’t know!)

Nettie is our bespoke, 2000 litre, electrically-fired, copper pot Still with a shell-in-tube condenser; an absolute workhorse, she produces the Low Wines for Dalclagie Single Malt Whisky each day, resulting in thousands of litres every week.

Each of our Stills and Washbacks are named for loved ones near and dear to the hearts of our team. Nettie is no exception and is named for the late Gran of our Head Distiller, Greg.
