We are not out of the woods yet. Don't let your guard down. Don't gather with other households this New Year’s Eve. Wear a mask on essential outings. Keep physical distance. Wash hands often. https://t.co/Osm1ObnBCG

Stay home, it's the best way to make sure you're safe.
Even if you test negative for COVID-19, you are still at risk of catching & spreading the virus. The only way to stay safe this holiday season is to celebrate with your own household. Save tests for people with symptoms or exposure, & essential workers. https://t.co/AOXzaV3vgA

Travel is not recommended this holiday season. #COVID19 is spreading rapidly in San Francisco and many other parts of the country. If you choose to travel outside the Bay Area you are required to self-quarantine for 10 days and monitor for symptoms. https://t.co/INQNxG3XeI

My staff has gone for a test at this site. They only had to wait a few minutes & got their results in less than 24 hours. There is plenty of room to social distance there, too.
Pop up COVID testing site open until 4:30PM today at 50 Broad St! Make sure to get tested to keep you and your loved ones safe. No appointment necessary #GetTestedSF

Stay home to save lives, it's that simple. Please do not travel & do not gather. Wherever you do go, wear a mask.
If we reduce the reproductive rate further, we will continue to make progress. Our destiny is in our hands. Do not travel this holiday season and do not gather with those not in your household. Stay home, save lives. #MaskTheSFup

Thank you @lihanlihan for this story! Yes, it’s true - I wasn’t the most academic student 😂, but found my way and eventually answered my calling. Hope to spark some hope in young people that it’s never too late to change and to find true meaning in serving your community.
SF Board President Norman Yee 余鼎昂 reveals his post-city hall plan: write papers/books about his troubled, struggling teenage time, his role in the childcare industry, and his leadership growth in politics. He's concerned if anyone will read that. I told him I will read that.

We all need to be paying attention to our movements. Limit your exposure. Stay home as much as you can & when you do leave, wear a mask & watch your distance.
We have issued an emergency alert for the Bay Area region. Our statewide ICU capacity is at 3%. This crisis is real & lives are on the line. We must do our part to keep people safe. Calling all Californians: Stay home, don't mix. Wear a mask. Stop the surge. Save lives.

George Wooding & Evernease Cook have worked on numerous neighborhood advocacy & improvement projects throughout the years. I was happy to recognize their efforts today outside the Midtown Terrace Clubhouse. Thank you both for all you do for our City!

Stay home, stay safe. If you do go out, wear a mask & watch your distance. And please don’t travel. We have all got to work together to stop this virus.
We're averaging an extremely high case rate: 242 cases per day. That's the highest average we've had since the onset of the pandemic. We still have time to turn this dire situation around and save lives. Stay home this holiday season. Do NOT travel or gather & always wear a mask.

Thank you @walksf for your work. We cannot do anything without your constant leadership and hard work. Thanks for paying me a visit and collecting D7 street safety data! Slower speeds, more daylighting, smarter engineering, safer streets!
Today, after doing some #daylighting data gathering in District 7, we paid a little visit to outgoing Supervisor @NormanYeeSF. If you haven't shared your thanks to Yee for being an incredible champion for safe streets, send a quick message now! #IWalkSF

It was my pleasure to present Sarah Wan of @cyc_sf with a certificate of honor recognizing her long-standing dedication to empowering the youth of SF. Her efforts to help establish the first District 7 Youth Council have engaged generations of civic minded San Franciscans.

Since we couldn't be inside City Hall, I was proud to swear in Tina Chang, my appointee for SF Board of Appeals, last week as her family joined us for the outdoor event. She brings a wealth of city & community planning expertise & power station development experience to the role.

We know how to do this right in SF & we need to do it again. Please stay home as much as you can. If you did plan to travel, I encourage you to cancel. We all need to work together to end this.
We let our guard down, and it’s up to us to crush the curve again. In-person gatherings this holiday season are not worth the risk. Dining with members of other households is prohibited.

Our Youth Commissioners' efforts to pass Vote 16/Prop G were inspiring. We had a socially-distanced get together on Sunday to recognize them. Thanks Crystal Chan, Adrianna Zhang, Rocky Versace, Sarah Cheung, Valentina Alioto-Pier, Sarah Ginsburg, Ariana Arana & Arianna Nassiri.

Thank you @SpeakerPelosi for your work to see this through. Proud to witness the Congressional Gold Medal awarded to Chinese American WWII veterans. A moment long overdue. They lived through adversity + discrimination despite their service; may these heroes never be forgotten.

Enjoy the open playgrounds responsibly - remember to keep your mask all the way up covering your nose & mouth while you're out there, too.
Now it’s up to us. Abide by rules & capacity limits posted at all sights. Wear masks, hand wash, social distance & don’t gather w more than own household. A child can enjoy a playground like an adult can enjoy a jog in GGP. Please, let’s be responsible for our kids.
