Have you used Freegle? If you are clearing out your cupboards, have you thought of offering the things you no longer need on Freegle? You can see what treasure you can find on there too.

Remember gas containers cannot go in your home recycling bin. You can return gas containers to the gas company branded on the container. We are seeing an increasing amount in recycling bins. Don't put them in your recycling bin; they can become dangerous and cause fires.

Summer BBQ? Don't cause a #Bincident! Make sure fire ashes are completely cool before putting them in your rubbish – allowing at least 48 hours after the fire has gone out and raking them through to check first. Did you know you can put them on your garden as fertiliser?

There are so many items you can recycle from your bathroom. It can be confusing as plastics come in lots of different shapes and colours, but all of these can go in your recycling bin at home!
