Bloom alert: Our hydrangeas (๐๐บ๐ฅ๐ณ๐ข๐ฏ๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ค๐ฆ๐ข๐ฆ) have filled The Kaufman Hydrangea Garden!. Did you know some species of hydrangea their color can change based on soil pH? Acidic soil brings out the blues, while alkaline soil leans toward pinks and purples!

Meet the Kousa dogwood (๐๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ด ๐ฌ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ด๐ข). It blooms a little later than your typical dogwood and just when you think springโs show is winding down, it steps into the spotlight. Keep an eye out for it's pointed white blooms around the Garden!

Drifting into bloom this spring, our Chinese snowball (๐๐ช๐ฃ๐ถ๐ณ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ฎ ๐ฎ๐ข๐ค๐ณ๐ฐ๐ค๐ฆ๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ข๐ญ๐ถ๐ฎ) has large, round white blooms that float like peaceful clouds within armโs reach. Often mistaken for hydrangeas, these dreamy early bloomers are actually viburnums.
