Putting the ball in play is grossly undervalued in a lot of modern hitting statistics. Iām not saying slug isnāt king, because frankly it isā¦.but putting it in play vs. striking out is a huge difference. Especially in the postseason. Sounds obvious, gets overlooked.

Imagine being basically the most experienced and polished pitcher in college baseball. You strike everyone out and donāt walk anyone. For 4 years. But for some reason thatās not good enough. So just for kicks you start training to throw 100. This story is going to be awesome.

Free speech doesnāt mean you canāt be fired for saying things. Thatās an employerās decision and they arenāt the government. Free speech means no law will be written that interferes with your ability to speak freely. That seems to have been lost in translation somewhere.
