Little trade haul of some books that I am long overdue to check out. Greg Rucka and Rick Remender are two writers I adore, but coincidentally, I haven't read much of either in recent years. Looking forward to remedying that!

Picked up this gorgeous book Marco put out. Huge recommend if you want some truly artistic dark fantasy!

Got to chat with Dustin Nguyen a bit and get a Descender print for the office. I'll get a picture once it's framed. Also looking forward to the Descender art book set to be crowdfunded soon!

Got to attend Wicked Con out in Boston this past Saturday! Really great show with a nice focus on comics. Rick Leonardi and Marco Rudy signatures acquired on two of my favorite Marvel books!

So sorry to hear that Michael Zulli has passed. Honored to have had his lovingly detailed, evocative art grace many stories at Vertigo. Among them,"Men of Good Fortune" & "The Wake" in Sandman, that Swamp Thing poster -- so beautiful. RIP Michael, you will be missed.

This issue solidified that one of my favorite things in comics is when Zdarsky, Anka and Co. just decide to randomly drop 2 or 3 issues every 4 years. No big deal, just the best modern fantasy comics. Hopefully not a long wait for more! #Blacksand #WhiteTrees #WhisperQueen
