A drop for the far right in the Netherlands. When Wilders won the elections in November 23, it was the beginning of a far-right wave that was fueled to some extent by polarisation after October 7. I wish this is the beginning of the end of that wave, but I'm not hopeful.

Appreciate this declaration of policy by VP @JDVance, but he has to know that while the Knesset vote may be symbolic, the ongoing de facto annexation of the West Bank is very real. If the US is not going to allow it, as he says, they need to be ready to impose real consequences.
Vance calls yesterday’s Knesset vote on the West Bank a “very stupid political stunt” & says he was personally offended by it. He repeats U.S. position in a pretty definitive way: “The West Bank is not going to be annexed by Israel.”
