Startups don’t grow by copying playbooks. What works for established companies won’t work for you in the early days. As a founder, your job isn’t to scale on day one. It’s to figure out what moves the needle today. This means ditching fancy strategies and embracing a mindset of

Seeing this makes me think @cluely could make more money selling marketing advisory hours on than from the product itself.

RT @addyosmani: AI made it cheap to generate code. Now the bottleneck is judgment. Taste is the differentiator. Great design will win.

Enough is enough. Prompt engineering is not engineering. Slapping the word “engineering” on “writing prompts” is like calling social engineering a branch of software engineering is absurd, but oddly effective at grabbing legitimacy. Let’s be real… writing a good AI prompt can.

AI should not do code reviews. Not now and not ever. While letting AI review AI-generated code sounds like a compelling idea, I think it's fundamentally wrong. It's not about whether AI can or can't do it. It's about whether it should.

The truth no one wants to say out loud is that the AI game is already over. Microsoft won. Not because Copilot is better than Cursor or Claude Code. Not because they have the best AI. But because they know how to play the game, and they’ve always played it the same way:.

I think AI didn’t lower the barrier to becoming a developer. It raised it. Everyone keeps saying AI is lowering the barrier to entry for software development. That anyone can build now. That the gate is wide open. I think the opposite is true. AI didn’t lower the barrier. It.

There's a good reason why fundamentals are called that way.

AI can help you write code faster. But when things break (and they will), the fundamentals’ll save you. Understanding how things work under the hood still matters. Especially in this AI era.

What building a @LEGO_Group Ferrari taught me about software development. I recently got the best gift from my wife - a LEGO Ferrari Formula 1 set. She knows how much I love F1, and this one was massive. It took me several days to complete, and while I’m not a software engineer,
