I'm using Spotlight MCP and Claude Code to figure out why a certain page of my app is slow. This is peak AI debugging.

I've been banging the tracing drum for almost 3 years now (since joining Sentry). It's THE way to debug apps in production.
Sentry's tracing product is legit useful now - its taken us a while, and there's still much opportunity to improve it, but its amazing when you need to work through a problem. I was using it to diagnose why we're seeing a massive influx of traffic on our MCP service...

One thing I like about @getsentry's AI code reviewer is when it finds a bug – it treats it as a "potential" bug. AFAIK they're the only code review tool that prompts your coding agent to double check before applying a fix.

I have a single friend in his late 30s right now. Mega-millionaire. Doing whatever he wants. He's happy! He always asks me "where are you going next" and I always respond "nowhere, I just want to be home with my kid." And he looks at me like I'm CRAZY. He tries to empathize, but

Friendly reminder that if you want to see how you can capture errors and measure performance in production in your React Native app, you should register for the free workshop I'm putting together on October 30th!
let him cook 👨🍳 Join @NikolovLazar on Oct 30 to learn how to connect the dots between slowdowns, crashes, and the user experience in your React Native app. RSVP in next post

Debugging is changing
This is a VERY good week of cool things in @getsentry, for example... I could sit here and teach you how to read the trace waterfall... OR... You we can just ask Seer 🤷♀️🤖 Coming soon. Seer is a lot more than just "fix this issue and give me a PR" - it's agent for debugging.

To put the AWS outage in perspective, Sentry's monitoring showed a ~2,000% increase in sites down today compared with yesterday. Did we mention we have an uptime monitoring product?

A year ago, @getsenry launched the Open Source Pledge, with one singular goal: get maintainers paid. A key pillar of @thePledge is it’s not a “pledge”, like an IOU. Rather, to join the Pledge, members come with receipts. Here’s why. 🧵
