I’ve been in the VB business for a few years. Pretty much born into it. One thing that I know is players cannot afford to forget how good they truly are. On any stage - especially national tourney stage - the young player who absolutely believes in herself has a major advantage.

Yesterday my niece told me that her 11 year old daughter had to declare what position she played before trying out for a club volleyball team. The worst byproduct of volleyball's growth is that there are people running club programs who have no insight into developmental sport.
