That curl chart really has done so much damage. People don’t know how to take care of THEIR hair cause they using universal 4c hair guides when they need to learn what their personal hair texture needs.

I’ve had clients say their hair is so unruly and so hard to deal with etc. They get in my chair and they hair detangles easy. In reality it just needed WATER and a trim. Like I’m sure you feel your hair is hard to manage cause you haven’t washed it or trimmed in MONTHS 😭.

I’ve had clients with all types of hair textures. Some with “4c” hair so fine that it’s almost like cotton candy. I’ve had others with really coarse hair. Both “4c” but their hair responded differently to product because of their TEXTURE.

Please give that curl chart a rest. In reality none of that means anything when it comes to hair. Two ppl with “4c” hair can have completely diff needs cause what really matters is your hair TEXTURE (fine, medium, coarse), which has nothing to do with that stupid chart.

I’ve now seen Megan x2 , Flo Milli x2, Monaleo x2, Glo , Latto, and now Cardi. I love the Rap girls real bad. Now I need to see KenTheMan but I missed her the first time in Chicago and now she not coming back 😭.
