It looks as though Texas Tech’s General Counsel has both a big brain and big balls. It usually takes just one such person to step up before others will follow. This is big news considering that the CSC “Participation Agreement” doesn’t become effective until all schools sign.
At least two power conference schools were considering not signing the CSC agreement, sources told @FOS Friday. Now, Texas Tech’s GC has authored a memo outlining concerns and advising the school not to sign. The memo, obtained by @FOS, has been distributed across the Big 12.
