They definitely don’t. And I work in the school system. It makes my ancestors in me angry everyday I’m in there.
People do not respect teachers, professors, or education administrators enough for me any more. And I’m talking about the ones that we know go over and beyond.

I stay on the eastern border of Mississippi and I have to give it to the mom and pop stores and restaurants. But the Gulf Coast is a place to be. I need to sample the Delta for sure
And in Mississippi, your feelings will be hurt if you think Jackson is the culinary capital. The Mississippi Delta and the Gulf Coast was right there. Mom and pops cannot be touched. Nor the gas station restaurants.

So my question is do the parents read what they sign at the beginning or the school year or when they start a new school? Because it seems like many of the parents don’t. The school I work at has this problem daily, and teachers are following their handbook by taking them up 🤷🏾♀️
The school will never have permission to remove the cell phone I provide either of my children with! If they(my kids) aren’t handling the phones responsibly call me, I will pick them up and discipline them myself.

Right. They don’t understand they sign papers that state they will follow the handbook. It seems the parents don’t know how to read either. What are you gonna do that’s gonna stop the kid from being on their phones? And then if they miss too much time in class that’s trouble 🤷🏾♀️
Don’t wait until you get to the school to pretend you parent and discipline. Also, you don’t make the rules in the classroom. You either need to get your license or homeschool if you wanna make the classroom rules.
