If you're interviewing, use this hack to be "Culture Fit" For example, if interviewing at Amazon, and they ask you: "Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficulty situation at work" Watch me answer with & without the hack, and see the HUGE difference it makes 👇

That's why, to stand out as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst on the job hunt, it's all about picking a portfolio project that visualizes well... This way, instead of TELLING recruiters/Hiring Managers what you can do (and risk boring them) You SHOW THEM what you can do!

That busy Hiring Manager or Recruiter will see a dope image/GIF of the self-driving RC car & will immediately understand what you made! They'll ask some genuine follow-up questions that’ll foster a conversation (which is PURE GOLD during an interview or networking event!)

It's just how we humans are: Talk about how you solved some random problem in a domain we don't know about Using obscure terminology and complicated technical jargon 30 seconds in most of us will be bored AF But show me your self-driving RC car and you've got me hooked!

While a specific accomplishment on a resume like "improved model performance by 1.3% using synthetic data” might be a hard-won battle… Making a self-driving RC car & filming a demo of it is gonna go a WHOLE lot further in conversations at a career fair or in a cold email pitch
