One thing we need to consider about the next wave of web3 users, especially ones coming from other industries is that we may need to give even more attention to the UX than we have been. We had to get real with ourselves and simplify our UX as well. Here are my thoughts🔽

Everyone talks about PMF and beautiful UI but not so many talk about the actual UX itself. Non web3 users need interfaces that feel the same as the rest of the internet. Power users always want more granular control, but not everyone is a power user. My full take⏬

DeFi's biggest problem isn't tech complexity, it's expecting everyone to become a crypto expert. You can't expect everybody to become a super technical user. If there's a way to make your product more approachable and easier to enter or interact with, then you should do it.

Raising funds in crypto is the first step, the second is dealing with the pressure. A couple of weeks after raising, you have strangers calling you a scammer. I get it, people expect instant results, but good products also take time. Give builders the time they need.

When I first connected with the team at Rank, it didn't feel like another pitch. Felt like they had something real, not just an idea. They'd been building and using the trading engine for over a decade, and the best thing is, this wasn't just for crypto but also for Forex.

This is the killer app guys.
Stripe takes 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction. Stripe Connect takes 0.5% more. PayPal is even worse. How is nobody building a better solution for SaaS companies?. Someone's gonna disrupt this and make a fortune 👀.

Sometimes people in this industry are so unhinged . Not in a good way either. I love web3 but I still wish as a whole we were a little more courteous and professional towards one another.
