This is cool. A narrative job title calculator. Narrative Designer means different things at different studios, so it's hard to know what to call yourself sometimes or know what an employer is really looking for. Adam Burt shared this on LinkedIn. Try it https://t.co/HTzYdpfkA8

There's a lot of inconsistency around job titles for people who work on narrative in games. So I've turned some of my thoughts into this handy calculator! It's a resource for individuals and studios looking to clarify and differentiate roles and careers https://t.co/ENo9FSdTFQ

As ever, there are lots of extras I could add, and more work that could be done on it - but perfect is the enemy of done, and this feels like an urgent, timely piece. It's perhaps more relevant this week than it would've been if I had done it sooner, or worked on it for longer.

I've been toying with the idea of making something like this for a little while, and this weekend I decided to just do it. It's made in Twine, and technically the most complex Twine project I've yet released in terms of length and overall functionality.

With four possible endings, four difficulty levels, and thousands of potential employers, the fun never stops!* *Possibly because it never begins, either.

To reflect the current state of the industry, it's also punishingly difficult. But it is possible to win - you might say it's the text-based "Dark Souls" of "getting employed". Are you up to the challenge?

Excited to announce the Detective Osiris OST is now available on Bandcamp (link below)! I learned so much about traditional Arabic music while working on it and I found so many new artists to follow. I'm so happy to finally share the results of such a fun and educational journey!

I should really say that all the talks I saw were good, and Chella also gave a very insightful talk about tackling real world topics. I also got to briefly play a bit of @AHighlandSong and some other interesting projects in the exhibition area!
