Mr. Thompson from the Farm Bureau spoke to students about life as a farmer. He spoke about his career, how weather plays a role in farming, & how technology has revolutionized the farming industry. This bridged a gap between what we are learning and the "real" world of farming.

Standing room only!!!. Mr. Sheppard and his band students put on an amazing concert. 6th graders were teaching the audience about the parts of their instruments and 8th grade advanced band was showing off their skills! . Well done Ravens! The Arts are thriving here at the River!

Class is back in session for our students AND teachers! Mr. Sovereign presented research on EL students and how to best support their learning. 🗣️Students learn best by having their first language available to them as they learn the content in their second language!

Congrats to Mr. Coysh and Ms. Corey for being recognized with WCPSS Employee Excellence awards for the month of November. There were over 100 submissions district wide and TWO Ravens were awarded! There is excellence at the River!
