It’s fine to be anti-tank, but you can’t have it both ways 42 of the last 44 NBA champions have won with their best player being drafted or signed in free agency Unless the Nets draft an MVP level player in the late lottery, they are not winning a championship (see odds below)

Zach Lowe on the Nets Org: “They’re not even trying to win — and they can’t play these guys [rookies]. Jordi’s telling them, ‘You’re not ready to get on the floor.’” Adds that the rookie class has passers, not scorers: “You play Demin to pass, not shoot.”
Harsh words on the state of the Nets: “It’s disconcerting to simultaneously tank and not even play your young players, your rookies.” @ZachLowe_NBA “There’s nobody on the Nets that is even intriguing rival teams right now, that’s a little alarming.” @HowardBeck

Great 2nd half for Boozer Did a better job getting into the paint and drawing contact. Much more active on the boards and I was impressed with his defensive versatility as a rim protector. Only had 2 assists, feels like it should have been more
Rough start for Cam Boozer I liked his rim protection and acting hands on defense, but the offense was rough. Texas clogged the paint and he had trouble getting anything going. Not gonna overreact

It's pretty clear Cam Thomas isn't a lead option, the team is bad, but there's zero reason he should be averaging less than 3 assists per game Still a high end role player/starter on a different team, but unless he becomes a way better passer, that's his ceiling

Jordi Fernandez needs to have a conversation with Cam Thomas CT gets over criticized, but the passing can't decrease, has to be 10 potential assists per game at minimum

Not gonna be overly critical with any player on this team, but unless there's a change, Cam Thomas is showing his ceiling as a player His passing has been gradually going down since the start of the season, he's still a good player in a different role

If Jordi insists on running a DHO heavy offense where the big gets a touch on every possession, I'd rather him play Danny Wolf than attempt to watch Claxton and Day'Ron spam an extremely telegraphed DHO
