Trials involved deploying #MyGearTag acoustic tags on trammel nets and the IRIS Autonomous Underwater Vehicle equipped with sonar to locate lost gear at depths up to 500 meters. The acoustic tags were detected from 1.4 km away at 20 meters depth, showing great potential ๐ค
