I know that tweet talks about the environmental issue too, but the people that call artists 'whiny bitches' about it, will only care about any impact when get them personally. Like the crypto crash, the real worry was on the GPUs, even if the environment also got a good punch.

Regarding the image gen talk, the dudebros forget that they all have personal, family, their kids maybe, posted on social media. They work under the "If it's posted online, anyone can use it" but fail to realize everyone has something about themselves there, not only lil drawings.
