What’s happening in L.A. has been happening in the Deep South since the Civil War. Red states are not red, we are suppressed as voters and citizens and residents. Republicans win because they fund that suppression. They are going to do to L.A. what they do to blue cities here.

Y'all, my SSI is just....gone. It's just gone. There's no record of it on the SSA site. I get 2/3 in SSDI, which for now is still there, but I can't live on $604 a month. I was barely living on $987 a month.

Self-acceptance helps reduce and manage #anxiety. That means accepting that we’re affected in many ways by many things, not always pleasant. This is simply a part of life. We will not always be comfortable. But we can accept the spectrum of our emotions. And we can let them go.

As difficult feelings arise, let them flow thru you and pass. When we’re having difficulty letting go, then the practice is to “forgive” them. We’re not necessarily forgiving anyone for their behavior. We’re forgiving ourselves for not easily letting go of pain or negativity.
