1/ Sui devs know the pain. You just want to spin up a local chain, test something small. But instead:.❌CLI errors.❌Faucet dry.❌Explorer doesn’t work. That 5-minute test turns into 2 hours of debugging. We felt the same. So we built LotusUI on @SuiNetwork 🧵

7/ LotusUI is still in its early stages, but the alpha version is live and ready to use. Built by developers for developers, it's designed to remove the friction from local Sui development. LotusUI was born during the Sui Overflow Hackathon built to solve real dev pain points

6/ Why does this matter?.Because local development on Sui today is harder than it should be. It slows teams down and makes testing more painful than productive. LotusUI simplifies the workflow so you can deploy faster, test with confidence, and get your team building from day

5/ You also get a local explorer out of the box. Curious about object ownership or package states? Just connect your local node. LotusUI gives you a full browser view of your Sui chain, without relying on Suiscan. It’s everything we wish we had, all in one place.

4/ What about test tokens?.Gone are the days of chasing broken faucets. LotusUI has a built-in faucet. You click, you get tokens.Everything runs through a single UI, including transactions, logs, and network state. No more switching tabs or digging through terminal💪🏻

3/ We didn’t try to reinvent Sui. We just made it easier to use LotusUI is all about simplicity. You can spin up a devnet in one click, fork mainnet or testnet for real-world testing, and forget about config files or complex CLI. Just open the app and start building.

2/ LotusUI started from frustration 🧐. Every time we onboarded a new team member or tested a feature, we hit the same walls:.• Local validators failing.• Test tokens not showing up.• Chain state unclear. So we asked: what if local dev felt like Ganache, but for Sui?
