On March 5th all of the cutscenes for the Kotone Cutscenes Project will be uploaded to YouTube as a 'final WIP'. There's still a bit more work to do before the mod releases but as of writing this, there is only one shot left to animate.
Interesting how Reload's awakening scene is clearly referencing both the original game and the movie. I've adjusted the timing a bit to match here, but most shots were only a few frames off.
Head turnaround of Kotone in the Reload artstyle. I made this for the team currently working on modding Kotone into Reload, but if anyone else wants to use it to make a 3D model feel free to do so. Just make sure you credit me
Mudkip's been making some great progress with Kotone's model for the Reload mod project. I'm also helping out with some UI stuff. I'm amazed at how quickly everything's been moving

8 player Persona 3 baby. Four players for the party, one player for the MP3 player controls, and three players to contemplate the meaning of life
These are the same dancers that provided the motion capture for these characters in Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night. Another reason why 2017 is the best Persona Music Live concert
@belkody1
Unfortunately I don't know anything about programming and that would be the most difficult part. But if someone else wanted to do that I would happily do the UI and assets. It's very unlikely given the amount of work involved though
The first Persona 3 Dual post only has 5 likes. I think it would be great if people could show them some attention since the original source was lost amoungst countless reposts.
For those waiting on the Kotone Cutscenes Project, the animation is being recomposited into the new upscales and fixes are being made to issues with both the animation and upscales. Still no release date yet, but when we do give one it won't be far from the release
Muting this now, but just want to make it clear that I mean no disrespect to the Designers that have worked on this game. 90% of what you see in these mockups is their work. I've just made some small tweaks to match what I personally feel is more in line with the original style.
To piggyback off of this, it's been a personal policy of mine to never like or reply to comments about the Kotone Cutscenes Project that put down ATLUS or call them lazy. Please don't weaponise fan projects. I work in this project out of love not resentment
I'm seeing a bit of it thrown around, but please don't use this project as some ammo towards Atlus about not having femc.
This is a passion project made by unpaid people.
Despite it's shortcomings P3R was still made by passionate newer and older Atlus devs.

By popular demand Shinjiro's "Don't cry" line from Portable has been added to the animated cutscene with a new animation shot to match. Thank you to
@GabiShy04
for making Portable's voice line match the mix of the original cutscene so well
Scene 2 (Iwatodai Dorm) was actually completed four days ago. I've been slowly uploading each shot from it so that I can keep up with consistant updates; while I am currently working on bringing up the quality of compositing in the older scenes to current standards.
The next scene will be done tomorrow. At this point, every remaining scene has been at least started. There will be some small clean-up work required on older scenes to ensure stylistic consistency, but the project is very close to completion.
@pengeyboss
It's true. Via connectivity with Nintendogs by using two DSs and the local wireless of the DS, you could unlock Koromaru in that game and raise his exclusive social link. If you max it out before October 4th he will steal Takaya's gun and nobody dies
Upscales of all the cutscenes (sans credits scenes) will be uploaded to YouTube later today. Once I've done the credits and made some other small tweaks, they will be uploaded to Google Drive for the highest quality.
We've been looking into new upscales of the Persona 3 scenes, and have discovered the glory of 3:2 inverse telecine deinterlacing. Perfect deinterlacing that restores the original 24fps, removing all judder and frame blending, which provides a perfect base for future scales
Here's my completed Scene 3. I had originally finished this back in April, but now the backgrounds have been (mostly) corrected for the new upscale. The team at
@FEMC_Cutscenes
have done their own version of the scene so now there's two versions to choose from. lol.
There is a vote for the name of the project happening the Discord right now (It's in the announcements channel). Click the link and vote for option B: Kotone Cutscenes Project
A lot of shots from here on out have major spoilers so I won't be posting them to Twitter since many people will be experiencing Persona 3's story for the first time with Reload soon. Rest assured the project is coming along smoothly and nearing completion.
@aatracoes
I've seen a lot of people say this. Please keep in mind that this is concept art and not a game screenshot. It's busy because it includes every possible UI element at once. You wouldn't actually see all of these on screen at the same time in the game
@NotFemReal
It looks cluttered because they're showing every UI element at once. Not all of them would be active at the same time. They do this in concept art to show that they don't overlap. Here's an example of NieR:Automata's UI concept vs what it actually looks like most of the time
@Aren_OverHeaven
Hopefully this helps. The last step with the lines at the edges of shadows is probably what you're mostly looking for—it's a distinctive feature of official Persona art
Every time I look at this the less sense the lighting makes. There shouldn't be any strong directional shadows here at all, but for some reason the plant's shadow is going in a completely different direction to the window sills????
Some people were asking so here are some fun stats;
The video is 30 minutes long and contains 158 shots of new animation. The working folder for the project contains 16,699 files, 245 folders and amounts to 23.3GBs worth of PNGs and PSDs

Worth noting that in Japan FES basically -was- DLC for the original. In addition to the stand-alone full release (like what we got in the west), they also had an 'Append' edition that was sold at a lower price, but required the original Persona3 disc to be inserted first
New Sonic Perfect System Steam Grids for Sonic 4 Episode II! This one features an original colouring of Yuji Uekawa's concept art for the box art by me. The style is based on
@Tracker_TD
's Perfect System covers for Sonic 1-3.
The Battle UI in Reload looks way better now that we can actually see all the elements of it. Hiding the Theurgia and Shift buttons resulted in a lot of weird negative space and lack of contrast that I couldn't understand at the time. But now it all feels way more cohesive
