We must have the juiciest juice in the DC region. Our juice costs about 50% more, so it must be better. Electricity @ 20 cents/kwh vs. NoVa at 14 cents. Their data centers must run on less juicy juice.

A correction: the solid waste fee did not increase by 400% in 2021. My own fee did increase by that amount due to a reclassification of my, and my neighbors, building types, which I am currently investigating with the assistance of the county environmental staff.

Another 7%+ increase in your county tax? The proposed budget includes a 31% increase in your "solid waste fee", which increased by over 400% in 2021. That increase will cost you more than the proposed 3.5% increase in the property tax rate, which increased by 7% 2 years ago.

Trump for Dummies, The Economist, 12/14, here is a summary for how to Trump:. 1: Identify a real problem. 2. Hyperbolize the problem. 3. Promise extreme measures. 4. Count on 2 & 3 to derange opponents. 5. Scatter breadcrumbs – hint at moderation. 6. Claim you solved the problem.
