For 30+ years, our work has been influenced by the structural barriers that cause people to experience poor sexual health. In the world of incredible HIV prevention technologies, U=U, PrEP, PEP, and rapid testing, there is no excuse to end HIV transmissions and health inequity.

We as a movement believe in the human rights of all lesbian, gay, trans, and queer siblings as a non-negotiable, and any policies, legislations, or laws that criminalise or make our existence even more challenging by putting our well-being, and lives at risk must be dismantled.

Black Pride 2025 marks 20 years of resistance and solidarity demanding LGBTQ+ human rights and advocacy. As we celebrate this year, there is an ongoing genocide in Palestine. We urge everyone to use their voice to demand human rights for all.

It was another wonderful occasion where all people of colour are centred in joyful solidarity. There are so few places where we can celebrate inclusion in quite this way. The generational mix is so inspiring; the gender fluidity & diversity, and the Global Majority solidarity.

Naz marked 20 years of #BlackPride on Sunday 10 August! Although we weren’t there at the first Black Pride in Southend-On-Sea, we have certainly been part of the journey from the days in Regent's Park, Pleasure Gardens in Vauxhall, and beyond to its current home at Olympic Park.
