Excited to attend my fourth @AllWomenLEAD2 event! Always inspired by our local leaders. @NaylaBahri talked about the “trap of measurement” which SPOKE to me. Measuring helps us make sense of complex things, but it can be damaging. The fixed timeline has been a big one for me.

"There are at least two truths when it comes to careers: progression is rarely linear, and reality often fails to meet our expectations." @NaylaBahri offers that you can only give yourself the gift of options. Don't miss her workshop with us. #LinkInBio

#savethestrand Every New York City booklover (and bookloving tourist) knows what this place means. Let's do what we can.
📣 We need your help. This is the post we hoped to never write, but today marks a huge turning point in The Strand's history. Our revenue has dropped nearly 70% compared to last year, and the loans and cash reserves that have kept us afloat these past months are depleted.

Accepting people does not mean agreeing or approving of them, waiving your own rights, or downplaying their impact upon you. You can still take appropriate actions to protect or support yourself. Or you can simply let people be.
