Richard Boucher was a brilliant diplomat and policymaker. I had the privilege of interviewing him several times during his time leading @State_SCA. While he wasn’t a regional expert, he understood the complexity of this part of the world. He played a key role in strengthening.
Ambassador Richard Boucher was a truly outstanding career Foreign Service Officer. An excellent State Department Spokesperson and negotiator. A patriot and friend to all in our generation. Rest in Peace.
