In Registered Reports, peer- review of the study protocol and analysis plan happens before the research starts and results are known. If accepted, the protocol is pre-registered.

By focusing on the importance of the research question and the strength of the methodologies, the format fosters transparency and reproducibility. It also supports the undertaking of replication studies.

We’ll publish the end result no matter what it says as long as the protocol is followed. The format encourages the publication of negative results.

@regreport @chrisdc77 We encourage plans to analyse behavioural and psychological impacts of the pandemic. We are also interested in proposals geared at estimating infection rates and their evolution in different populations.
