I just wanted to update everyone who has followed my journey. One week ago my abuser was found dead in his bed by my 11 yo daughter. I now have all 4 of our children with me. Obviously my kids are devastated and seeing them hurting so much is heartbreaking.

My daughter who was living with my abuser for a year and was never in school has now been in school everyday since a week after he died. Attendance was between 20-30% and is now just under 50%. So proud of her.

Thank God I don’t have to deal with any of them ever again & my children have made me so proud. I am so grateful I got to come home to MY family, my beautiful wife who was at home with my twins waiting to take me into her arms and make it all okay.

Never been so humiliated in my life. Went to my children’s father’s funeral today to be there for my children & was treated like a pariah. Ignored by his side of the family & spoken to like crap by his previous wife’s family. The trauma of today has left me in shambles.
