Not confirmed. Just sharing what I've heard
What better way to celebrate the anniversary of the Xbox than with a birthday surprise.
I can independently confirm & share with you today that Halo Infinite multiplayer will be made available on Monday, November 15.
Suit up, Spartans.
To expand upon the report with some additional information:
DOOM: The Dark Ages will be announced at the Xbox Games Showcase next month and will be revealed as a multiplatform release -- Yes; it's coming to PlayStation 5.
Over the course of the week, I've rechecked the info mentioned below & the information suggesting Starfield was PS5-bound is false.
I will not delete the tweet. I'll own the mistake.
A previous report from January discussing MS bringing games multiplat remains accurate.
This report is accurate -- Starfield will land on PlayStation.
I've heard similar but opted to wait on reporting this information until the PS5 release timeline was finalized.
As the report states, the PS5 release will come after the arrival of the expansion DLC on Xbox/PC.

We will discuss this development & what it means on Nintendo's approach to the coming fiscal year and beyond later this week, as there is much to go over in Nintendo's report from today.
As it stands: the shift to the next-gen of Nintendo hardware is entering stage 1.
This is Furukawa, President of Nintendo. We will make an announcement about the successor to Nintendo Switch within this fiscal year. It will have been over nine years since we announced the existence of Nintendo Switch back in March 2015. We will be holding a Nintendo Direct
Instead of answering each tweet asking for my take, I'll respond here: I became aware of industry chatter concerning a delay to Q1 2025 earlier this week. This info was only relayed to partners very recent.
Beyond that, I've been checking how this may impact announcement timing.
I want to emphasize this statement only represents me & in no way dismisses info of other outlets.
Due to ongoing conversations & discussions over the course of the week, I have considerably less confidence that an announcement will take place ahead of E3... 1/4
Metroid Prime Remastered & GameBoy coming to NSO. The prophecy has been fulfilled.
We'll share our complete thoughts with a Direct Reaction episode later this week.
We will discuss the recent Switch 2 specs & more in the near future. Will be bringing on a guest to talk them and delve deeper into what they mean performance wise, how it'll stand against all the competition & what other kinds of surprise features we may see from the hardware.
I don't intend to mislead people.
The information I was given pointed to a Direct this week (be it a Mini or General).
After today's showing, it appears the company will designate any presentation going forward that omits a first-party game as a "Mini: Partner Showcase".
If you get upset over things that are clearly presented as 'Predictions' then you should take a moment to evaluate your priorities; especially when things were framed as "What We Know" & "Predictions/Think May Be There".
Predictions are not leaks nor are presented as such.
New episode available tomorrow morning.
Time to talk Nintendo and what we could see happen with their 2024.
New hardware? A Direct soon? We discuss these and more.
Nintendo's 2020 output is mostly revealed now -- except for Pokemon Expansion release & next Smash Bros. fighter.
Super Mario 3D All Stars & Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity are the big Nintendo titles for this holiday.
More 3rd-party stuff still to be announced.
Yes; an episode discussing the Nvidia leak regarding the new Nintendo Switch hardware is still to come.
Why the delay?
Simple: This one episode will cover as much as possible & necessary. This means research, source checks & so forth.
Date of release: Soon.
Nintendo 2024 Predictions: Switch 2 Reveal & Launch Timing, Back-Compat, Gimmick & More (ft. Digital Foundry)
2024 is here & it's a new year of excitement for Nintendo. What will the next Direct bring? When will we see Switch 2?
We discuss these & more.
We've seen the reports from VGC & Eurogamer discussing the Gamescom Switch 2 demos. We are currently discussing how we want to approach the topic.
If we opt to discuss the matter, the episode will be available early next week, as already have an episode recorded for tomorrow.

Sony intends to offer legacy platforms -- PS1, PS2, PSP -- on the highest tier. To my understanding, PS1 will be available at service launch in spring 2022. PS2 will be later.
100s of PS1 classics -- including first and third-party, are planned for the service.
SCOOP: Sony is planning a new subscription service, code-named Spartacus, to take on Xbox Game Pass. It's being pitched as a three-tier service that will merge PlayStation Now with PlayStation Plus. Highest tier could include PS1/PS2/PSP games
I invite the 'Nate the Hate' community to wish our very own MVG
@ModernVintageG

You know him as a top-tier co-host on the show; but he's also someone I'm honored & privileged to work with & call friend.
Raise a Foster's & wish him a happy birthday today.

@JeffGrubb
)
A Direct is upon us & it's time to discuss what we know is there & what we predict will be there. Will Metroid, Fire Emblem & Zelda be dated? NSO update?
To my understanding, it's a Direct Mini Partner and its main focus will be third-party; but that doesn't mean Nintendo will have no presence.
They had some presence in prior Partners -- just in a limited capacity.

A new episode discussing the Nintendo Direct, the game lineup, noticeable omissions, why it focused on Japanese software, and how pre-show expectations shape & influence the reaction one has to the Direct will be available tomorrow morning.
A Direct Mini: Partner Showcase aired today. It lacked Nintendo-published software -- like Mario 3D Collection.
Based on the info made available to me (being 3D Mario should be dated this week + Direct this week), I concluded this week would be Mini/Gen.
I'll be more clear.
To emphasize: this only represents me. It doesn't mean any other outlet has bad information. I'm only speaking on the information I have been given & expressing my uncertainty in it.
I hope the other reports are accurate & an announcement happens in the coming hours &/or days.

We discuss.
Some of the information I had & was confident in no longer looks as solid as it did a week ago. Cracks formed due to inaccurate/inconsistent info & misunderstanding of accurate info.
With expectations high, I wanted to address this in a direct & prompt manner. 3/4

Our hope is to have the episode by end of the week. Stay tuned.
This doesn't mean an announcement cannot happen. I simply do not know.
I'm being open, honest, & transparent with everyone & sharing that recent conversations & new information have me doubting a pre-E3 announcement... 2/4
Looks like the gaming universe wants us to talk about the Switch Pro one final time this month.
Thanks to Bloomberg's new report, which mentions a new SoC, DLSS functionality, & more; we must address this latest article & how it matches & differs to what we've been saying.
Final word: If you feel I misled you in any way with the Predictions, I apologize.
We formatted the discussion to separate the 'Known' from the 'Predictions'; yet, some took the Predictions as hints or fact.
We'll explore other avenues to make things more clear in the future.
