This may be true in non-Christian societies for lowbrow pop entertainers like Chip & Joanna, who follow the culture rather than shaping it. Christians who take a more independent self-confident approach are better able to influence even mainstream culture.
Chip & Joanna Gaines are the latest proof that āmainstream Christian cultureā is a contradiction in terms. God tells Christians that we āare not of this world.ā Christians are counter-cultural. Becoming āmainstreamā w/ lines of Target goods & Oprah-endorsed tv shows makes it.

Think of how many prominent woke scolds turned out to be abusers, pedophiles, etc. They love ideologies that give them a cheap āget out of jail freeā card ā the chance to claim righteousness and courage by denouncing others. Easy chance to offset their guilt from other sins.
