It's not a typo. Most of us think freedom is when we're 'free from' an experience. We hold fear at arms length which, in itself, creates resistance & perpetuates the experience. I'm running an immersive 1-1 coaching programme in the new year to explore this. DM for more info.

Pls can we add 'An Oscar look' to the OED? (14yo offspring reference). Definition: A cursory glance in haste with an underlying intention for a responsible adult to take over and locate said item. To appear thorough yet be deliberately superficial.

Kids are so savvy at reading people. They see way beyond the words & can intuit alignment (and misalignment) so instinctively. As adults we think we have a lot to teach young people, but it is a wholly reciprocal dynamic.

Teenagers often gravitate to activities / things they love & thrive at, but 'success' seems to be defined by ratings or rankings. "It's as if it's only worth it if they're going to give me a grade for it.". @naomicfisher spking at the @ProgEducat summit.

Interesting to see the Guardian's eXodus. Bluesky is super friendly - growing swiftly, has starter packs to avoid loss of network & better functionality to remove toxicity & retain autonomy. I'm loving it over there :).

Part of working in an integrated system is recognising respective strengths & not trying to own it all. The VCSE is exceptional at relational support, rooted in trust. So pls fund them accordingly & trust them to deliver this. #soapbox #unapologetic.

So much is lost in the intersections of our health service. I called the GP practice yday details of a biopsy I'm waiting to be scheduled (since Sept). There was a void of info for a contact point or a steer on the waiting list. It must be so hard for those who can't advocate.
