The lady doth protest too much.
Stanley Drunkenmiller: “Palantirians, a term I’ve heard for many years being a cult…” $PLTR CEO Alex Karp 🔮🤣 “A cult where I get no sexual benefits by the way. Just to be clear. Drunkenmiller: “Thank you Alex” Karp: “It’s a rare cult with no sex and very little drugs and

The story here is really fun. The whole company is a vanity project of Laura Aguilar, who invented the drug when she was Estuardo's (below) grad student. Those two got busy and made kids and have never dropped her thesis project. $CADL
Here is just a handy reminder that one of the inventors at $CADL (former chairman, CEO, biggest shareholder along with his wife) has a history of lying to the FDA.

This whole drama with the $CAPR warning letter reminds me of when I found this one on $SWTX. Didn't end up amounting to anything if I'm honest. I suspect atht $CAPR would LOVE any excuse to discontinue that trial though.
What is this? Evidently in March the FDA inspected $SWTX and cited them for violating their clinical trial protocols. Notably it sounds like they were averaging in small tumors into the data that weren't initially included. @adamfeuerstein @JohnCendpts

$CAPR HOPE-3 data integrity issues to the point that it could require running a new trial might be a positive development
@NoseRubInvest @seedy19tron According to https://t.co/Ajpgo3g20d site - her site is involved with 12 studies - most are ongoing -// for $CAPR specific - the site is involved w/ HOPE3 ONLY - not HOPE2 (OLE) or HOPE.

Another hot take: "Oil is so useful its used in downright everything you touch in daily life and there is only so much of it......we should burn more."
I love this positively asinine take making the rounds this morning. I don't care that turbines cost oil. I care that they generate enormously larger amounts of energy than burning that oil. Don't be long inefficiency. That's stupid.

If this were true, the logical step would be to cut them all down and set them on fire. I think we all know intuitively we'll get less energy out of that.

Every left-winger should have their eyes held open and be forced to watch this on repeat until it sinks in.

We live in an innovation economy.
Tarantula economics. This young widow in Cambodia digs up tarantulas in her backyard jungle, stir fries them with garlic and sells them for around $1.25 each. Raw tarantulas go for $0.75 We watched her dig one up out of the ground, cut off its stinger and then deep fry it. She

Have any of my biotech nerds considered that if we transition to...ya know...that we'll leave behind all these insane cults? Wouldn't it be nice to talk in peace, and let this place be the next stocktwits?
