Another trip down Memory Lane… Writing the comms for my old youth centre which could soon double in size! It comes on the back of @blackburndarwen working with partners to secure £8m through the Youth Investment Fund. It was the most awarded to any one place in the country!

Did you know that the first-ever Western was filmed right here in Blackburn! 🤠 It was captured by pioneering filmmakers ‘Mitchell & Kenyon!’ One of these recently transformed shops once belonged to them & in 1994 a huge haul of their negatives were discovered there!

I’m always in awe when I drive past this building! Now, @blackburndarwen is looking to buy Imperial Mill to safeguard its future and create new employment and cultural opportunities. A massive well done to my lovely colleague Clare who’s worked so hard to get it to this point!
