Excited to launch the Call Me Doctor ESTEEMED Scholars Program with our first cohort this summer! I have always supported efforts to increase the representation of minoritized students in STEM PhDs, and it is an honor to now lead an NIH-funded program with such a great team!.
We are widening and diversifying the talent pipeline with the Call Me Doctor ESTEEMED Scholars Program! The program was created by Angela Alexander-Bryant and Jordon Gilmore and is funded by the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering.

5 years, 2 babies, and a whole pandemic later, it's been quite a journey! Feeling grateful and thinking about the legacy my mom started as the first in the family to go to college. Iām blessed to build on what she started. The journey continues!.
