NakedPunks is a free mint #NFT project. Some free mints have left a bad taste in our mouths so here are some tips to help you stay safe with all mints:

(11/13) What about the rights? By purchasing a NakedPunk NFT you are granted with the full (commercial) ownership rights to your NFT. This means you can do whatever you like.

(10/13) Any utility? What an ugly word... NakedPunks NFT is art. However, this doesn't mean we can't airdrop some cool stuff in the future, as long as we stay naked.

(9/13) How will the ID's work? NakedPunks will start with ID 10,000. CryptoPunks holders can get their matching NakedPunks with the same ID number.

(8/13) Can I get a full body for my original CryptoPunk? Of course we had to think about the OG’s as well. So if you own a CryptoPunk you get a matching NakedPunk for free as well. We will provide more information after mint.

(7/13) What's the mint price? Just like CryptoPunks, you can mint NakedPunks for free.

(6/13) Now, after celebrating more than 5 years of CryptoPunks, we want to do it. We want to show our art and spark some excitement in you. Especially those that never had the chance to mint CryptoPunks in 2017. You’ll be able to mint NakedPunks in 2022.

(5/13) We were so inspired that we wanted to make a derivative of this project. We had this idea of CryptoPunks being naked guys and girls for quite a while but as it wasn’t clear how far a derivative project can be taken before it gets troublesome, we waited.

(4/13) We were baffled by the creative way the people behind LarvaLabs used a 24 by 24 pixels box to create 10,000 different CryptoPunks characters. Even though they seemed like an experiment and costed (nearly) no money to mint at launch, it now has a floor price of over 80 ETH.

(3/13) Specifically with a smart-contract which has the name/recognizer “ERC-721”. This was created in order to simplify creating, storing and trading Non-Fungible Tokens, or NFT’s.

(2/13) How are NakedPunks created? Let’s start at the basics: our collection is created on the Ethereum network, currently the most-used blockchain technology for creating smart-contracts.

Personal: Suing (small) derivative projects (or owners) as a billion-dollar company is lame. It’s ridiculous how @cryptomarcs is mentioned in the YugaLabs v Ryder case…
