folks saw big troll accounts hating on h's acting and joined in by trying to separate c. another thing was separating h to do damage control. it was too vulnerable a time to start establishing who was worthy of protection and who should just suck it up for the sake of peace.

thinking of this interview hudson did with his actor friend thanh, where he didnāt have wings to eat so he ate chocolate and hot sauce, realized it tasted like shit, but then did it a second time anyway š

Asian, autistic, & queer audiences praising his performance and finding his character deeply relatable; critics and film analysts breaking down the subtlety of his acting and how difficult it is to pull off such a role⦠ehhh but I was told heās a bad actor with no range š®??
Ashley Iris Gill, the B Camera Operator for āHeated Rivalryā, talks about how touched she was by Hudson Williamsā performance during Shaneās coming out to his mom scene āI feel like it didnāt feel like acting. It felt so real, even to me. That Iām not even joking, I actually had

twitter logic being hudson having a korean mom doesnt make him asian but having a girlfriend makes him straight

Shane being asian is an afterthought in the book, his coming out is offscreen, and he is confirmed to be autistic outside of the book. Iām really glad Hudson and Jacob are taking care and putting thought into each of these incredibly integral parts of Shaneās identity.
Hudson liked a reel about the show gladly being more explicit about Shane being asian! š https://t.co/kDEkeE9ccA

rachel when she made shane asian to stereotype his genitals and body hair then it comes time to actually address said identity and the trauma it causes in a white homophobic sport and flesh him out as a character and the "quirks" (autism and ED) she gave him by accident

@mitthrawnu iāve said it before, but hudson is very good at depicting pleasure. he did it in the show (the moans, the way he couldnāt finish sentences, his face) and he did it with his voice alone in ember and ice. hope we get to see more of it in s2
