Brand new and ready for its running in period: Hymek D7000 is outside the Beyer Peacock works at Gorton 28th May 1961. It entered service the same month after being allocated to Bristol MPD. 📸 Frank Hornby

Been working on this signal box for the past two weeks it’s a laser cut kit but I’ve added some details from ModelU and MSE notably the roof finials and gutter/drain pipe detail #00Gauge

Another concrete post GNR somersault signal built from MSE parts; a distant signal this time, note the vertical black stripe as opposed to a black chevron normally seen on LNER and LMS distant signals, this was a unique GNR feature. #00Gauge

Just finished this MSE kit; a concrete post ‘Great Northern Railway’ somersault home signal. A few of these lived on in Lincolnshire well into the 1980’s on the British Rail network. They can still be seen today on the Heritage North Norfolk Railway. #00Scale
