NYPD Brotherhood for the Fallen honors the life and service of San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Nunez, whose End of Watch was 10/27/2025.  We stand with his family, department, and loved ones as we pay our respects to a hero who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Attended the 77 Community Council Meeting with PBBN Assistant Chief Mark A.Vasquez, TD32 Deputy Inspector Tameeca Greene and 77 Precinct Commanding Officer Omar Birchwood. Together, we discussed community safety and ongoing efforts to address neighborhood issues.

Thank you, Officer Daley, for 25 years of service, sacrifice and dedication to the midnight platoon. Your PSA 2 family will always appreciate and remember your commitment.

This past weekend in Brownsville, the Neighborhood Safety Team Officers recovered an illegal firearm during patrol, arresting one individual without incident. Also in East New York, patrol Officers responding to a domestic violence call recovered another firearm. Great job!

Attended the Cypress Development Tenant Association meeting and had a productive conversation with residents on public safety and policy. Grateful for the dialogue and looking forward to strengthening relationships with the Cypress Community.

Patrol officers arrested an individual and recovered this illegal firearm during a DV investigation at the Marcus Garvey Development. One more firearm off our streets. Great team work!

Today, Police Service Area 2 Quality of Life Team sectors were out in full force addressing community concerns by removing derelict mopeds from the . Sethlow and Linden Developments. Several moped were identified as stolen from other precincts.

Police Service Area #2 NCOs recovered an illegal firearm during a proactive patrol in the 77th Precinct. Another gun off the streets of Crown Heights. Also, PSA 2 Patrol Officers responded to a domestic violence call and safely recovered a firearm. Great job to all!

We were honored to attend Mayor Adams’ NYCHA Resident Leadership Reception at Gracie Mansion yesterday. It was a truly meaningful occasion to celebrate and recognize the unwavering dedication and hard work of our NYCHA resident leaders.

On Independence Day, NST officers swiftly took action and made a firearm arrest, keeping our community safe during the holiday celebrations.
