🚨 Crime Prevention in Action 🚨.Our Crime Prevention Officer has been out in the community sharing important safety tips with local delivery drivers following a recent uptick in robberies targeting food delivery services.

A very special guest had the chance to experience what it’s like behind the scenes at the 49th Precinct! She toured the station, met with our Commanding Officer, and got a firsthand look at the incredible work our officers do every day. 👮‍♀️💙

🚨ARREST: Loaded Firearm Recovered🚨. On the 2800 block of Barker Ave, Officers responded to a menacing incident involving a firearm. One person was taken into custody, and a loaded, defaced gun was recovered following a search warrant. Great work by our officers.

Big win for our Blue Chips kids as they took down the 40 Pct in their first game! The 49ers came out strong and never let up — great energy, great teamwork, and a great game all around. Proud of our squad!

Our NCOs in coordination with NYPD Traffic & DSNY,conducted a targeted towing operation to address abandoned & illegally parked vehicles. Over 30 vehicles were removed from various locations throughout the command as part of ongoing efforts to keep our streets clear & accessible.
