Sometimes we find surprises at construction sites! 🧱👀 No blueprint would’ve featured this cool find! At Arthur A. Schomburg (X163) in the Bronx, the construction crew uncovered a 50yr time capsule just three days after its intended opening date – June 10th, 2025! 🕰️ (1/2)

The Garden has an open grass field w/ picnic tables, planting beds, a composting area, and a fruit orchard; plus a greenhouse, flower/herb gardens, a storage shed, an outdoor kitchen pavilion, and bathroom amenities, which will all be maintained by the Horticulture Society. 🌸🍎

Starting in the 📅 2025–26 school year, students will explore hydroponics, composting with worms, and pollinator garden studies, and learn how to plant, tend, harvest, and prepare herbs, flowers, fruits, and vegetables. 🥕🥬🍏
