Solidarity with our coworkers in the northeast organizing & fighting for what we need! Amazonians United will never be defeated!
This morning, in the first multi-state walkout in the US, over 60 workers in 3 delivery stations walked out. Amazonians United workers in ZYO1 and DBK1 in New York City and DMD9 in Maryland showed what solidarity looks like. We demand a $3 raise!

Amazon has no idea how to play the game in our court. They don’t even know where to stow the packages. They are nothing without the workers✊ $3 more!

But it’s not. By facing our fear and walking off the job, we showed Amazon that the arena is the shop floor. And that our union’s power lies in our hands

Corporate powers have spent decades not only crushing worker power, but twisting the public’s very definition of a Union. They’ve long tried to convince us that building a Union is a spectator’s sport. That the only arena is the NLRB election box.

At 4:28am at ZYO1, our hearts were POUNDING. With all our managers called in to stop us, we felt like we were going to puke. But then we did it. We stopped the belt, chanted, & walked out to cheers of workers from DBK1 and the community. It felt like we’d won a championship game

NEW: Amazon warehouse workers staged coordinated work stoppages at multiple warehouses in NYC & Washington DC this morning for $3 an hour raises, in 1 case literally turning off the conveyor belt & leaving. I spoke to workers about why they're striking. https://t.co/wQMs3JoCpQ

We stand in solidarity with the Amazon workers who were recently arrested in Staten Island. Amazon is afraid of what we can accomplish when we come together to fight for change. They want to use the police to intimidate us. It won’t work!

Proof that when we stand together and fight, we win
Amazon pissed us off last year by denying us a raise, sayin our pay was competitive. So we drafted petition demands, united & executed the first coordinated Amazon walkouts. Today Amazon announced they’re giving us a raise. Can't deny the power of our union: when we fight we win!

Yesterday we stood together as Chicagoland Amazon workers at DLN2 in Cicero and DIL3 in Gage Park to execute the first multi-site work stoppage at Amazon in the US. We will continue growing in number and solidarity within our facility and between facilities! (1/)

Rest in power to our coworkers who lost their lives in the Midwest storms. We know this isn’t a coincidence— over and over again, Amazon risks our lives by knowingly having us work during extreme weather. You’re in our hearts as we fight for an Amazon the respects workers’ lives.

The cost of getting home on Lyft or Uber (the only option for most)was expensive! Over $100 for some of us. We almost ended up paying more to come into work than to stay home, but we were able to push Amazon into covering the cost of rides! Working class power for the win!

Looks like a couple trucks made it through and we do have a little work. Which raises the question of why Amazon is expecting drivers to be out in this weather.
