A high wind warning is in effect for the southern Alaska Peninsula through Sunday morning. Wind gusts as high as 75 mph are most likely for Cold Bay, though False Pass and King Cove may also see wind gusts over 65 mph. Winds diminish through the day on Sunday. #akwx

We are currently monitoring a front expected to move into the Southwest Alaska coast on Wednesday. A storm may develop somewhere along the front, influencing where along the coast will experience blowing snow conditions. We will provide updates as this system develops.
