Our team of NWPPA members convened on Capitol Hill to advocate for #PublicPower at another successful #legislativerally with @NCPA_Alert . We had the pleasure of meeting with around 40 offices, including members of Congress, federal agency staff, and congressional staff.

The NWPPA Board has selected Kurt Miller to be its next executive director, effective Dec 1, 2023. Miller is currently the ED of @NWRiverPartners. Previous NWPPA ED Scott Corwin vacated the position in August to lead @publicpowerorg as its new CEO.

“I'm excited for this new chapter & look forward to leading a national association that has such a rich history. I've loved working with NWPPA’s excellent staff, board, & public power champions in the Western region, & I'm confident NWPPA is on a strong path forward," said Corwin.
APPA’s Board of Directors has named Scott Corwin as the association’s next president & CEO. Corwin currently serves as executive director of @NWPPAssoc in Vancouver, Washington. He previously served as the executive director of the Public Power Council.
