Each new Guideline is accompanied by a Summary Document which will support healthcare professionals with an easy reference guide to the new guideline, and a Plain Language Summary which explains the impact the new Guideline will have on women’s care in a simple format.

These Guidelines join 20 previously published guidelines on a diverse range of areas in obstetrics, maternal-fetal medicine, gynaecology, midwifery and bereavement care.

Today we are launching a further suite of National Clinical Guidelines in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Midwifery, covering topics like Intrapartum Care, IVF, Miscarriage, Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring, Fetal Growth Restriction, Endometriosis & Assisted Vaginal Birth.
