Each month, we provides performance data to each of our partner agencies and the public. Since April, average calls per hour have increased by more than 10%, bringing our average calls during peak hours (8am - 8pm) to approximately 6 calls per minute.

During this multi-agency incident, our ECC Operators spoke directly with the suspect - providing valuable insight and intelligence to responders in the field. Fantastic work by all involved!

NWECC operators consistently triage more than 300 non-emergency/ emergency calls per hour during peak hours. In some cases, that's as many as 6 calls per minute. Since April, overall call volume is up more than 10% which is typical during summer months.

During the 4th of July holiday, Emergency Communications Centers are often overwhelmed by non-emergency calls related to fireworks. This results in an unnecessary delay in emergency service for those who truly need it. Fireworks ≠ Emergency
