Today, we celebrate WWII Navy Veteran Emerson Pell’s 100th birthday. A “normal guy” who dropped depth charges on enemy subs, survived a plane crash and 11 hours in shark-infested waters, and served on the Galapagos Islands. https://t.co/qqP1temWE2

https://t.co/gDCeFZqmka New article was just published in the International Journal of MS Care. We looked at what psychosocial factors may be related to goal attainment in physical therapy: specifically, goals related to walking. 🚶🏻🚶🏻♀️🧠 Enjoy!

I used the game Spot It! for an entire treatment session recently when working on dual cognitive/motor tasking. The patient loved it and was engaged. The game is cheap and easy to learn. What more could you ask for? Highly recommend! https://t.co/l0sHksliqz

It is fascinating (and a little depressing!) how little work on ✨sustainability✨ there is in the Knowledge Translation space. Someone (maybe @RomneyWendy?) tell me I’m wrong and missed some landmark paper/researcher doing great work on this area.

One of the moments I feel the most skilled is when performing a semi annual reassessment in those with progressive neurological conditions. It should be standard practice in these populations.

For the record, I’ve also heard physical therapists say this. This line of thinking is so weird. It’s like, do you think PT can’t do anything for diagnoses like MS and PD too???

As someone who loves dual task training and measures DTC/DTI in all my patients with PD I am curious what people think of this new JNPT article https://t.co/HT2EYguz4w Those inclusion/exclusion criteria 👀

In this hypothetical situation ENT/Audiology/Vestibular PTs/ Neuro PTs would be towards the top. But I’m wondering where EM physicians, Hospitalists, Neurologists, and Family Med would rank.
