Holtec has submitted a letter indicating they’ve completed the necessary licensing activities to transition the Palisades nuclear plant from decommissioning to operational status. We’re still reviewing their licensing actions. The letter is here:

Commissioner Marzano was #OnTheRoad, and made a point to visit Braidwood nuclear plant where he earned his Senior Reactor Operator license and worked in the control room from 2018 – 2021. He spoke with current operators and learned that sometimes, you really can “go home again.”
